SUSTAINABILITY

Protecting the planet is built into our DNA

connection  to yanco

Logistics is one of the largest contributors to carbon emissions and harmful environmental impacts. As YanCo grows, our success has the potential to add to the problem.
That doesn’t sit well with us, so we’re doing something about it.

Carbon negative  deliveries by December 2023

We know the future needs to be greener – and recognize that we have a part to play in making that happen. That’s why we’re building a fully electric fleet, sequestering our carbon footprint, and optimizing our operations for a circular supply chain to make our deliveries carbon negative.

SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE #1

Electrifying  the last mile

We’re laser-focused on electrifying our entire fleet. By the end of 2023, we aim to complete 90% of our deliveries in an electric vehicle. And that’s just the beginning.

SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE #2

Sequestering  carbon emissions

When complete delivery in an EV is not possible, GoBolt supports verified nature restoration projects to sequester our carbon emissions.

SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE #3

Leveraging  Technology

Our in-house technology routing system ensures our last mile drivers take the most efficient route for deliveries to cut down on fuel consumption and emissions.

SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE #4

Promoting  the circular economy

Thanks to our partnership with The Furniture Bank Network, we help our retailers redirect returned or unsellable household items back into the community–getting children and their families the beds and furnishings they need as they exit homelessness.

SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE #5

Utilizing  Sustainable materials

All our packaging materials are sourced from FSC-certified suppliers such as Cascades. Such materials are made from 100% recycled, starch-based biodegradable products. We opt for packing with paper instead of plastic and in the future, we will be evaluating circular packaging.
